In 1951 Mr. M. Bashir, (Grandfather of Mr. Jamil Uddin, and Mr. Shakii Uddin, Chairman and Managing Director of Olympia Holdings Ltd) started Olympia bakery and Confectionary Ltd. In 1980 Mr. Md Nasir Uddin eldest son of Mr. M. Bashir established Novel watch which imports high end brand watches from different European and Asian countries. In 1999 Olympia palace and restaurant was established by Mr. Md Nasir Uddin. In November 2015 Olympia Holdings Ltd was established by Mr. Jamil Uddin and Mr. Shakii Uddin.
From January 2016, OLYMPIA PLAZA will start in Asulia & will be completed by December 31st of 2018. Olympia Plaza will be one of the biggest commercial buildings in Asulia with total land 46 katha, with 2 car parking basements &16 storied building. Per floor size is 25000 (approx.) square feet, Shops will be till 4th floor (with ground floor) and in 5th floor there will be food court & entertainment facilities for children. From 7th floor there will be commercial spaces.
